The Love Quest Foundation is offering a series of wellness workshops to young people in Dutchess, Orange, Ulster, and Westchester counties. The Introspective Rhythm Youth Wellness Workshops will run from December 2023 through March 2024 and address culturally and socially relevant issues, promote health and wellness, and heighten awareness about COVID-19.
“We’re excited to work with mission aligned organizations to offer these workshops that give young people tools that teach important skills, build confidence, and ensure their mental and physical wellness,” said Executive Director Josayne Anderson-Tejera.
The workshops will be facilitated by community partners throughout the Mid-Hudson region, including 1 Freedom 4 All, 1 Small Step 1 Giant Leap Productions, Bennett Music, Life Flows Through Every Body, Save Our Tomorrow, and Youth On A Mission — to name a few.
Youth will participate in music projects, farming, journaling, exercising, and in health, wellness, and other activities. The Introspective Rhythm Youth Wellness workshops will conclude with a Red Carpet Affair.
The Introspective Rhythm Youth Wellness Workshops are funded by a grant from the New York State Department of Health.
